A Friday evening at hostel, with no
record-to-be-completed for Monday's lab classes, record in an
Engineer's language refers to the ill-shaped book, which is supposed
to be taken care with absolute importance as there will not be a
'Handle with care' label on it, so the burden for one saving the book
from coffee spills or from a stupid friend who is on a hyper mode
just because he got a 'Hii' text from an unknown number or at the
worst case, from that one person who borrows the record and forgets
where he had kept it is definitely high! Thank God! No more tensions
with that one book which takes a heavy toll in an Engineer's life. So
the fact that me being in the final semester brings a
Mother-of-Records kind, The Project Report! A very large percentage
of students like me, eagerly wait for the day when Project Report is
to submitted. The reason is because, the moment you submit it and you
turn back to leave the room, you try to take out your coolers from
your shirt and imagine yourself to be the famous style actor from
Kollywood. Also, you feel like pumping fist in the air because of the
high profile procedures that the Institution follows to preserve this
'Record-Part 2' ( This time its their headache to preserve it
carefully from the above mentioned obstacles, a sudden change in the
look on my face turning red, but still I smile with V shaped eyebrows
and imagine two sharp objects protruding from my skull, in one
word-Evil thought). So yesterday was the date of Report submission
for my department(one thing I am glad about) and surprisingly we
submitted! Yes! I even did pinch myself to check if its real, it was.
The toss for the Semi-final clash against South Africa in the ongoing
T20 World Cup took place. Now if there is anyone who is reading this
in spite of not watching the match, just take your right hand and slap
on your face, now if someone even tried doing this, please reconsider
your current mental status. Getting back, am not going to get into
the match details. For a blogger like me, I cannot do justice to the
game by writing about it. So after a three hour non-stop, of course I
did stop once(dinner yar! C'mon! That one night in the entire week I
was eagerly waiting for, nothing special, a traditional South Indian
dish that never tasted like Indian though). After the match, after
clapping my hands till my palms turned red and after hugging till I
was literally out of friends to hug and after continuous whistling(
by the time I stopped whistling, few of the audience in that stadium
would have reached home) and then when I slept, revival of good-old
memories flashed me, that moment, exactly!! When MSD lifted the 2011
WC, will that repeat? Will that moment be a treat to watch for all
the final years staying at hostel? I am sure it would. Stay tuned and
do not engage yourself with any work tomorrow at 6.30 P.M, do not even
hesitate to break up with your bf/gf, because its WC Final Baby! Now please do not curse me if it(breakup) really did!
